The mission of Pleasanton's Economic Development Program is to provide a positive business climate and a stable economic base for the provision of goods, services, and facilities desired by the community. To guide the city in its' goals and objectives for local economic development, the Economic Vitality Committee assesses Pleasanton's business climate, reviews issues that may impact it, and offers suggestions and recommendations to the City Council. Our community is fortunate to have several information resources on where to shop, dine and enjoy our city. The development of www.inPleasanton.com is an effort of the Economic Vitality Committee to provide one comprehensive website where the City can attract new businesses and visitors to Pleasanton, encourage businesses to market themselves and increase awareness of the breadth of shopping and dining Pleasanton has to offer.
